The Executive Branch Director is on the Senior Leadership Team of the YMCA of Youngstown. Under the supervision of the CEO, this position is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day operational success of their assigned branch. This role oversees all aspects of branch operations, including program development, membership growth and retention, fiscal management, staff supervision, fundraising, facility excellence, and community engagement. The Executive Branch Director embodies the YMCA mission and guiding principles—while ensuring the branch operates with excellence, sustainability, and impact.
1. Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, business, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5–7 years in progressive leadership positions, preferably within YMCA or similar nonprofit.
3. Proven success in leadership, fiscal management, staff supervision, fundraising, and community development.
4. Effective communication, organizational, and people skills.
5. Commitment to the YMCA’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.
