Are you a ropes course enthusiast who thrives on challenge, connection, and campfires? Do you believe leadership looks a lot like kindness, responsibility, and helping others conquer the zip line of life? Then it’s time to trade in your desk job for a harness and a walkie-talkie.

At the YMCA of Columbia-Willamette, we’re looking for a Groups Coordinator who’s equal parts adventure guru, hospitality wizard, and team motivator. You’ll lead our High Adventure Program, train and manage staff, host incredible rental groups, and help keep our beautiful camp running strong all year long.

Qualifications

You’ll Need:

  • ACCT Level 2 certification, have or able/willing to obtain

  • Positive attitude, initiative, flexibility, dependability and ability to work and problem solve as a team player

  • Must pass YMCA background check

  • College Degree 

  • CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of employment 

  • Possess strong customer service skills

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in similar roles
Essential Functions
  • Manage adventure staff 

  • Maintain all adventure courses 

  • Maintain and coordinate all adventure programming safety inspections and certifications 

  • Schedule and coordinate trainings 

  • Communicate with outside rental groups 

  • Staff all rental groups 

  • Host all rental groups 

  • Support Maintenance Department year round 

  • Support Food Service Department year round 

  • Assist with camp maintenance projects 

  • Assist with all summer camp programs 

  • Drive camp vehicles 

  • Provide support to the camp administrative staff

  • Other duties as assigned
