Under the general direction of the Chief Operations Officer, this position is accountable for the successful administration of the branch in accordance with policies, procedures, and guidelines of the YMCA of Greater Tulsa Association. The Executive Director oversees the management of programs, membership, volunteer and staff recruitment and development, fundraising, and collaborations with community agencies in meeting the needs of its members and program participants. The Executive Director will work with Association Staff in consistency of programs and membership as well as innovation, strategy and management of risk.

1. Ensure growth in membership sales and recruitment
2. Responsible for budgeting, expense control, & income generation for the branch.
3. Oversight for all program areas within the branch.
4. Constant communication and work with the Association Directors to create an innovative strategy.
5. Recruit, develop and lead volunteers and staff in raising the goal amount of the Annual Campaign
6. Recruit, develop and lead the board of advisors.
7. Recruit develop and lead program and membership staff.
8. Consistently communicate with property managers regarding cleanliness and safety of facility.
9. Facilitate communication between all departments so members are aware of all programs & opportunities available to them.
10. Work closely with VP of Talent and Culture to ensure programs and facility are run in a safe manner.
11. Work closely with COO to ensure proper marketing strategy is followed.
12. Coordinate scheduling so facility operates seamlessly.
13. Assist with annual promotion plan for all programs including flyers, brochures, website, newsletter, news releases, advertisements, etc.
14. Accurate and timely with all assignments, deadlines, etc.

1. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience
2. Minimum 5 years YMCA exempt/professional work experience or equivalent in a related field or company
3. Volunteer or Staff supervision experience
4. Proven ability to raise funds and grow membership
5. Proven ability to work with a volunteer board/committee
6. Knowledge of the YMCA as a membership organization
7. Knowledge & experience in budgeting, financial development, and board/community relations.
